Help Oliver the Foster Kitty!

Hi!

I’m Kimber and I’m trying to get help for Oliver! He was rescued two days ago after being thrown from a car. He has two injuries in separate legs: one is swollen and the other seems to be an old injury that he’s dragging.

He has a great appetite, uses the litter box like an old pro, and really likes exploring and cuddling.

Oliver doesn’t show signs of pain, but I can’t imagine he doesn’t feel it.

We have a vet appt to get X-rays and see what step is next.

I have two cats, two dogs, and a small farm with sheep, chickens, and ducks…so our pet fund is minimal. We just used our emergency pet fund on our dog’s dental work so we are rebuilding that budget. So, this little rescue is not something we can afford alone.

Oliver was going to be left in the woods, injured and all, so I knew he needed help immediately. My dear friend, Alyssa, came to his rescue and now he’s in my care.

$5000 is a broad figure. I will post his actual bills when I know the full amount and adjust the goal accordingly. I am hopeful it will be much less, but we won’t know anything until a vet sees him.

I am a sucker for an orange male tabby, and Oliver has already won us over. I don’t want to fail him. He has already been through such brutal treatment in his short life, and yet he still has loud purrs for us. He deserves a better second life.
