Help Olivia and Her Dad Recover from Accident

Our granddaughter and son were both struck by a car as they walked to kindergarten. This happened in a school zone in front of a park. Our granddaughter, Olivia, was thrown through the air and landed three cars away. Our 6' 4" son, Blake went over the hood and up and back down the windshield. Our son was then frantically looking for his daughter after they were struck...of course he was dazed and in a panic...I cant imagine the feeling of fear he must have felt. When he found her, face down on the asphalt, her head was swelling and her mouth and nose were bleeding. We don't understand why this driver just ran them down and was going so fast taking a left turn in front of a park attached to an elementary school in Huntington Beach. They both were rushed to the hospital in an ambulance. Olivia was in the hospital ICU for two days and was diagnosed with a concussion. To make a long and painful story short, our son is self-employed and hasn't been able to work. Being the sole provider for the family, he could use a little help right now. Any amount would help, and prayers and words of encouragement are greatly appreciated. This could have been much worse, but for the Grace of God, for many reasons including the fact that he often also has his 3 year old daughter and/or his wife with them on the short morning walk...we replay it in our heads! This little family is in shock. To see our little Ollie and her Daddy traumatized like this, is extremely hard on all of us. Thanks for your concern and consideration, with love and prayers.
