Help Olivia Angel’s family navigate in this time of need.

Hi, my name is Stephanie and I am fundraising for Olivia Angel, My beloved stepmother, who is a mother of two and a grandmother of soon-to-be two, who is currently at the end of her life. Olivia is a strong woman loved by so many. She fought a hard battle with glioblastoma, a malignant cancer located in the brain. Despite facing many challenges throughout the years, she always remained optimistic, happy, and an overall amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter and friend.

Unfortunately, years prior her glioblastoma diagnosis her primary medical team failed her as they misdiagnosed her condition due to only diagnosing her with depression without conducting any testing.

On February 2024, she presented signs of facial drooping, It was then when she was finally treated and further testing was conducted revealing and being diagnosed with glioblastoma. She underwent an urgent brain surgery, which was successful in removing 50% of the brain tumor. She recovered at the hospital and was discharged to continue her recovery at home.

While at recovering at home, she underwent various radiation sessions and chemo treatments. Devastating, on April 20, 2024 she had a seizure which led to her being readmitted to the hospital. Her tests showed that her brain was swelling again and had continuous seizures this led my father making the decision of intubating her. On April 24th, her medical team informed us that the tumor was growing rapidly and radiation was no longer effective and there was nothing else they could do for her .At the moment the only thing keeping with life is the tube, and when removed, She would only have a life expectancy of 1 to 2 days.

These news have been incredibly hard for us to grasp and accept and we are grieving what will be the loss of an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter and friend. We are asking for support for what will be her funeral to help us ease the burden of medical bills and funeral costs that our family will be left to deal with. Hola, mi nombre es Stephanie y estoy recaudando fondos para Olivia Angel, mi querida madrastra, madre de dos hijas y abuela de los que pronto serán dos, quien actualmente se encuentra al final de su vida. Mientras se recuperaba en casa, se sometió a varias sesiones de radiación y tratamientos de quimioterapia. Lamentablemente, el 20 de abril de 2024 sufrió una convulsión que la llevó a ser readmitida en el hospital. Sus exámenes mostraron que su cerebro se estaba hinchando nuevamente y tenía convulsiones continuas, esto llevó a mi padre a tomar la decisión de intubarla. El 24 de abril, su equipo médico nos informó que el tumor estaba creciendo rápidamente y la radiación ya no era efectiva y no podían hacer nada más por ella. Por el momento lo único que la mantiene con vida es el tubo, y cuando se lo retiren, ella Sólo estara uno o dos días con nosotros.

Estas noticias han sido increíblemente difíciles para nosotros de comprender y acceptar y estamos de duelo por lo que será la pérdida de una maravillosa esposa, madre, abuela, hermana, hija y amiga.
