Help Olivia Climb the World Cup Circuit!

Hi, my name is Olivia and I am fundraising to compete in the paraclimbing world cup and world championship circuit this summer in Europe. I have been a disabled climber for the last 9 years, with a degenerative neurological condition that affects the functioning in my legs. This past March I competed for the very first time at the US Paraclimbing National Championship, and through my hard work and training I earned a silver medal, securing my spot on the USA Climbing Team for the 2023 Season. This experience was incredibly transformative, and it stoked my fire beyond belief to continue on this competition journey, and to test my skills against other paraclimbers on an international stage.

The circuit includes three world cups as follows - May in Salt Lake City, Utah; Early June in Innsbruck, Austria; Late June in Villars, Switzerland - and the world championship in August in Bern, Switzerland, which only happens every 2 years.

This opportunity is immensely important to me because I am at a point in my life where I have the ability to take the time to focus on climbing in such a concentrated way, as well as to dedicate time to traveling throughout Europe for the competitions, before I delve into my full time teaching career. With a little help, I am hopeful to be able to make this happen! I worked very hard to get to this point and I don't want to pass up this once in a lifetime opportunity!

My goal of $8,000 will go towards flight expenses, lodging, food, transportation, travel insurance, and competition registration.
