Help Olivia get her own Wheelchair

Donation protected

In February 2025, Olivia woke up as normal, went to school as normal and started her day as she always did.

Whilst at school she felt ill and asked to sit inside. From here Olivia fell quite ill and ended up in hospital for a week, losing the ability to walk or tolerate light.

After X-Rays, blood tests and MRIs we had no answers and it was only a week later that we were told Olivia had Functional Neurological Disorder (FND). FND is a brain-based condition that impacts how the brain sends and receives information around the body.

Two months on and Liv can only stand using a zimmer for 30seconds and we have been bounced from pillar to post trying to get her a wheelchair. We have been lucky enough to borrow one from a family friend but know that long term Liv will need one to self-propel. FND is relatively unknown and symptoms are case by case with no timeframe for recovery, Olivia does not qualify and we are trying to get her some independence back therefore need to buy one ourselves.

I will be running the Bolton Ironman 10km Nightrun for Liv, dressed in a Stitch Mascot outfit to try raise funds. These funds are to purchase Liv a chair she can use, and some accessories to help her with comfort.

Thank you all so much in advance ❤️❤️
