Help Ollie survive FIP
Donation protected
Hi everyone, our sweet baby kitten, Ollie, had just been diagnosed with FIP. He has a high fever, free fluid in his abdomen, is very lethargic, and is not his usual, playful self.
Feline infectious coronavirus, also known as FIP, is not a new virus and it is a different strain than the virus that causes COVID-19 in humans. Until now, it's been a death sentence for cats who develop the most severe forms of the infection. There is a treatment, however it is not approved by the FDA and is being sold through a Facebook group called FIP Warriors 5.0.
FIP treatment is 84 days of injections or pills followed by another 84 days of monitoring.
The treatment, GS-441524 or "GS," isn't FDA-approved and is sourced from manufacturers in China. The cost varies by brand, concentration, and any relapse guarantee. When tested in the university trial in 2017 at UCDavis in California, the cure rate averaged 85%.
We would be so very grateful for any contribution to helping fund Ollie’s treatments. Anything helps, thank you so much for saving our baby boy.
