Help Oluyemi offset part of his legal bills

Dr Oluyemi Akinmolayan is our classmate who had been under GMC investigation following false and malicious report by his ex-wife whom he had divorced over 9years ago. Having known him for over 20year to be a person of good character, it had taken everyone by surprise.

While male doctors, just like other males in the British society, can be target of malicious representation and reported both for profiteering and to get back at such spouses, GMC in their wisdom will most often refer such reports to the MTPS as in this case, even though this was alleged to have happened many years ago while Dr Akinmolayan was not registered under the GMC.

At the time of the alleged offence, Dr Akinmolayan was not registered under any Medical Indemnity and has had to personally fund the entire trial and travail, which lasted about 2years, and has set him back over 35,000pounds.

As friends, we humbly ask that you support Dr Akinmolayan in any way you can. We do not seek to put him in a better financial position, but we do hope to relieve him of only a fraction of the burden.
