Help Omar and Adam To Survive and Rebuild Their Life’s

I am Israa, 33 years old, I am from Gaza, Al Remal Neighborhood, I am a wife and a mother of two tender hearts: Omar and Adam. They are a precious treasure of our modest family of four. Omar is 8 years and Adam is 9 months. When the Gaza Genocide started at 7th of October. Adam was a newborn of just 23 days. My husband is Ahmed, he is a Civil Engineer, he is interested in playing football, guitar, Piano and other music instruments. Before the war, he was working all the day to secure a decent life and to afford basic needs for our kids and to gradually build our home. After the Gaza war, Ahmed lost his job and we do not have any source of livelihood to afford buying our basic necessities and our kids` needs.

I have set up this fundraiser to raise money for my family that are suffering and lost their comfort space due to the devastating collapse of the city at the hands of the ongoing war. The situation is dire with many lacking access to basic necessities such as shelter, water and food and adequate health care.

Omar was very excellent at school. He plays football, Karate, Chess, swimming, PlayStation. We resided in our home since 3 years and we step by step organized decorations and details to make it a cozy atmosphere for our kids. Omar was alone for 7 years and was dreaming of having a brother/sister to play with. He was introvert and always felt that he is alone. The story was changed and the life started to flourish when I was pregnant of Adam. Cheerfully, Omar was eagerly waiting to hug his lovely brother and we prepare an exquisite room, preparing everything, baby clothing set and toys.. etc to welcome our baby ADAM.

In moments, because of Gaza Genocide, Our life was utterly changed upside down. We are forced to evacuate our home on the 13th of October 2023 under the fire belts around us. We escape at night running at street with our 2 kids. The black smoke and flames were everywhere. Adam experienced a harsh respiration and serious illness cough during that night which affect his health after that. Me and my husband Ahmed sought refuge staying at schools in a hall of 60 women, sleeping at sand on school ground and then we reside in a tent in Rafah and displaced many times from place to another which made Adam`s situation worse and worse with malnutrition of me feeding the baby who depends on mother milk and the scarce of clean water. He also suffered a chronic diaper rash due to the pollution and dirt inside the tent. Adam respiration become more worse due to pollutions from burning wood for the use of cooking and due to a lack of medicine, vaccines, clothes, food, clean water and warm. We cannot even take shower or have a bathroom at anytime we want to go, we have to wait more than 1 hour to take a turn.

Omar deprived from simplest things like apples, vegetables and eggs and he always go with his father to seek water and wood, he held a heavy water bottles and wood.

Kids at their age, their counterparts across the world enjoy their lives, they can live and learn freely. While in Gaza, kids` dreams have had shattered. The war swept away the remnants of our dreams and the aspirations we held.

Unfortunately, our home was bombed and completely destroyed by Israeli airstrikes after one week of our evacuation leaving us hopeless and depressed. More specifically, Omar experienced a serious depression and desperation. We witnessed death and destruction, heard the constant explosions of bombs and the buzzing of drones, and have been subject to deep emotional turmoil from which we may never recover. We lost our home that costed us nearly US$80,000, all our memories, hopes and we are now homeless.

I am raising funds to provide emergency relief to my family in the hope that it may infuse some normality to their lives. This fund will be spent on My kids basic needs such as food, clothes, and what they need for their livings. Our primary focus is day-to-day survival but we hope to raise enough to secure their near future life.

This is an urgent plea for help. No human should endure what life is in Gaza right now. Your donation can be a catalyst for change. It can be the beacon of hope we need to change our life; proof that compassion can triumph over the ravages of war, and from the ashes, resilience can give rise to a brighter future.
