Help Apalachee HS Faculty Heal After School Tragedy

My name is Christy Copeland, and I am a Family Nurse Practitioner and the owner of On Point Med Spa & Wellness Center located in Bethlehem, Ga.

On September 4, 2024, one of the schools in our county, Apalachee High School, experienced a massive school shooting. For weeks, we helplessly watched members of our community try to make sense of their world…. Some unable to eat or sleep, while others tearful. We noticed that the one thing they ALL have in common, though, is an immeasurable amount of STRESS!! As someone who has experienced the effects of trauma on the body, I know how important it is for the body to have periods of relaxation in order to heal.

So, on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, I hand delivered 180 gift cards to Apalachee High School, each one offering a faculty member a free facial and 15 minute session in our full body, zero gravity massage chair. The gift cards were delivered to the faculty members during the schools “12 Days of Christmas” kickoff celebration, and the first faculty member was treated the following day!!

On Point Mex Spa & Wellness Center is committed to providing each one of the 180 faculty members of Apalachee High School with a necessary period of relaxation to help promote healing!! The normal cost for the services being provided is $75 per person, for a total of $13,500.
