Help Opie's mum pay off his life-saving surgery

Hello, I'm Kim, a good friend (and long time walker and general 'revver-upperer') of Opie, my friend Kerrie's mischievous but ever so gorgeous Jack Russell.

Based in Brisbane, I only see him once or twice a year, keeping up to date with his and his mum's news through his Instagram page @opiethejackrussell (aka 'Little Sh*t').

Following the recent news of his sarcoma diagnosis, and considering his age, I was concerned that when I saw him (not being able to visit due to covid) that he'd be slow and not long for this world, but instead I was amazed to find him still very much a pup at heart.

Was it the drugs? Perhaps.

But I know that he's still got a lot of life in him, as long his mum can cope with all the challenges life keeps throwing at them.

Which brings me to the reason for this GoFundMe page. Opie's life-saving surgery has come at quite a cost.

Opie's mum Kerrie has always been a very generous soul with her time, money and efforts to help others less fortunate. So I'm reaching out to her community to ask for some help–however large or small– to reduce their financial burden at this difficult time.
