Hi, my name is Dayani Caballero I was born and raised in Honduras. In 2017, I moved to the United States.
In June of 2015 a group of students from the city of El Progreso, Yoro started the project “Organización Salvando Huellas”. The purpose of this project is to work with the domestic animals (dogs and cats) that are homeless and abandoned, providing them a safe place to live while they recover until they are ready for adoption.
My goal for the end of the year is to assist them with donations to help care and provide for the animals. This includes food, hospital bills, vet bills, rent and renovations to the shelter. This organization is not assisted by the Honduran government. It relies on the donations from kind and caring people. The animals need all the help we can provide, any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

En junio de 2015 un grupo de estudiantes de la ciudad de El Progreso, Yoro inició el proyecto “Organización Salvando Huellas”. El propósito de este proyecto es trabajar con los animales domésticos (perros y gatos) que se encuentran sin hogar y abandonados, brindándoles un lugar seguro para vivir mientras se recuperan hasta que estén listos para ser adoptados.
Mi objetivo para fin de año es ayudarlos con donaciones para ayudar a cuidar y mantener a los animales. Esto incluye alimentos, facturas del hospital, facturas del veterinario, alquiler y renovaciones del refugio. Esta organización no cuenta con la asistencia del gobierno hondureño. Depende de las donaciones de personas amables y bondadosas. Los animales necesitan toda la ayuda que podamos brindarles, cualquier ayuda será muy apreciada.
