Hello everyone,

Hi my name is Osama and I am a student from Gaza who successfully evacuated (in February) in order to continue my education. I started this page to help my family get out of Gaza to save their lives and help us reunite. Since the occupation of Rafah in May, the opportunities for my family to evacuate and join me in safety have disappeared. However, my family is still in serious need of funds just to survive. The cost of daily expenses such as food, clothing, and medicine have skyrocketed. In addition, they are being forced to move due to strike threats for the fifth time... They are currently searching for an apartment in a new area and the cost of rent is over 1,000 USD per month. This is money we do not have. Please continue to donate and share my page so that my family can feed themselves, have a roof over their heads, and so that we can hopefully be reunited one day.

After being out of the genocide, I started to feel a new type of sadness and anxiety since I left my family behind. I can’t really live normally knowing that my family members could be killed at any moment.

I have been thinking about launching this campaign for a long time, but things have gotten so bad that they pushed me to start it. Ramadan is starting and my family does not have the bare minimum of mental and physical strength to start fasting. My family is 9 members including a 3 year old and a 16 year old, and a 4 month old. My parents also cannot get the medications they need for their hypertension. We had hope about a ceasefire before Ramadan but it is now 4 months later and seems it will not happen anytime soon.

Me and my family had been displaced since October 13th and we were forced to relocate more than 4 times. Our house in the Northern part of Wadi was targeted and partially blown up, making it impossible for us to return home even after a ceasefire. After making the dangerous trip to Rafah, we had to go back to the middle area of Gaza due to threats of invading Rafah. Every new place came with different threats and dangers. My family, now in Al-Nussirat refugee camp, don't have even the most basic things that are needed for any human being.

The money raised here will be used directly to help my family eat and live, and to evacuate them as soon as the opportunity arises.
