Help Oscar as he fights for his life

Hello,

My name is Samantha, and Oscar came into my life about 8 months ago. Oscar had recently moved from California and needed a place to land before getting on his feet again, so my parents graciously took him in for a few months. As he lived with my family, he quickly became like another brother to me.

Right now, Oscar is fighting for his life in the ICU. Due to complications from COVID and pneumonia, he was placed in a medically-induced coma and is currently on a ventilator. Things are looking bleak for our brother and friend, and we're trying to bring the community together to pray for Oscar as he battles this sickness.

In the meantime, we know that his anticipated stay in the ICU is going to be about 2-3 weeks, followed by a long-term rehabilitation center, and we know the burden of medical bills will not be easy. We ask that anyone who is willing to give this holiday season, please think of our friend in not only your thoughts and prayers, but also with this financial burden he will soon face. We're grateful for any and all help!
