Help Oskar to go to the Gay Games in Mexico

I am due to go to Mexico in October 2023 to compete at the Gay Games as a trans athlete.

Powerlifting hasn't been in the gay games for a while and this is the first time trans people can self select the category they wish to compete in. It is the first time that the category MX has been included. The MX category may not be available to trans/non-binary people for the next one due the current climate of discrimination.

So even though I've been plagued with injuries for the last year, I still want to go, give it my best and represent. I am going as an older trans non binary person of colour cause I think it's important for us to be seen and because I am proud to be a trans athlete

Now I have paid for registration but I can't get the funds together for the flight and accommodation which I think will be around £3000.

If I am not able to raise the funds to go then I will use what funds are collected to reimburse the people who have donated skills and time and then what is left to go to a LGBTQIA charity in Mexico. It would be great if I could do both donate and participate in what is an opportunity of a lifetime to do what I feel passionate and be proud of who I am.
