Help our 6 month old kitten Kinako survive FIP
About two weeks ago we took Kinako to urgent care for a bloated belly and an irregular heart rate. Several blood tests later the vet has diagnosed her with FIP, a rare mutation of the feline coronavirus that is mostly considered fatal in the US due to the treatment not being approved or available within the country. We have been able to acquire the medication through support groups and are currently giving her daily injections. Her symptoms have greatly improved and we have hope that she will recover. The financial and emotional toll of the diagnosis has been significant and we’re reaching out to hopefully help cover the costs of Kinako’s medication and vet bills. Please, if you have the means, help us save our kitten, we love her and want her to be with us for many years to come.
