Help our American Legion Post to replace the AC Units

This year for my Birthday I am conducting a building repair campaign for my beloved American Legion Post in Islip NY .

Named after two great Islip patriots from WW1 Joseph Rusy and Emil Bohm, our post has over 100 years of service to our Veterans and Community . That 100 years of many folks passing through our doors has caught up to us. meaning the Post building is in need of immidiate repair and major renovation .

My immidiate goal is to help my Post Family financially replace the now non working Air Conditioning unit . Its finally quit cooling and will make it unbearble to hold our Veteran meetings and community events when its so humid and hot inside as it warms up oustide in these upcoming days.

The Post as we affectionatley call it is the source for all Veterans to gather for fellowship , camaraderie and frendship. Its also a place were our combat Vets can talk about their experiences without judgement.
