Our little puppy, Luna, has been a part of our family for the past two years. She is such a sweet and loving dog and we can't imagine not having her in our life.
Unfortunately, last year on her very first birthday she got ill and was hospitalized and after may tests, x-rays, and scans she was diagnosed with a genetic disorder which affects her liver and blood filtration.
She has been on medications for the past year but she is starting to build tolerance towards the medications and she is becoming symptomatic again.
Luckily there is a cure! A surgery can fix the shunt on her liver and hopefully she can get back to becoming a normal dog.
