Help Our Beloved Nina, Widowed Far Too Young at 31

Nina’s friends are rallying around her and asking for your support as she navigates the unexpected loss of her husband Dominic Rossetti, 30 years old. On Wednesday 9/25/24 Dom was involved in an accident where the Canoe he was in flipped over in the middle of Donner Lake. His cousin was able to be saved by a nearby windsurfer but Dom quickly went underwater, unable to be located. Neither were wearing a life jacket. His body was found on 9/28/24.

Nina is now left with a funeral to plan and fund, inevitable extra expenses and all of their bills to pay alone. Your funds will help with all of this plus allow her some time away from the classroom to grieve properly.

Nina & Dom just had their 4 year wedding anniversary in August and were hoping to soon start a family. They were always by each other’s side and loved one another dearly. They recently celebrated Nina’s 31st birthday just 10 days before this tragedy. They had been together for 7 years.

Those lucky enough to know Nina just love her. She brings so much joy to all the children she comes into contact with, either through her many years of nannying, her Undercover Fairy face painting gigs and in her preschool where last year she won “Teacher of the Year”. Many may not know that Nina lost her mother at the very young age of 8 and her father at 21. Dom was her rock and this unexpected loss has been absolutely devastating for her.
