Help Our Botanist & Barrel Team After Hurricane Helene
Donation protected
I'm Lyndon Smith, co-founder of Botanist & Barrel in Asheville, NC. Our Asheville team has been hit hard by Hurricane Helene, and we want to express our deepest thanks for helping us raise $8,496 to keep paying our staff. Once we reach our $10K goal for the Asheville team, any additional donations will support our entire team as well as continue to help our community recover from this unprecedented natural disaster.
We've reopened downtown with limited hours, but the road to recovery is long, and the region's tourism—which we rely on heavily, will take time to return.
Why We Need Your Help:
No one in WNC was prepared for a disaster of this magnitude. Like many, we don’t have flood insurance, and though we hoped our business interruption insurance would cover our income loss, we’ve been denied.
Our business is facing enormous challenges and we are asking for your help.
Our Goal:
We're aiming to raise $40,000 to help sustain our entire Botanist & Barrel team during this critical time. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a real difference.
Why This Matters:
Seven years ago, we started this business to create sustainable, locally sourced beverages we could be proud of. Our team has been at the heart of that journey, supporting the community and working tirelessly. Now, we need your support to continue.
What You Can Do:
Donate: Every contribution helps, no matter the size.
Share: If you can't donate, please share this campaign with your network.
Support: A few kind words go a long way—leave an encouraging comment for our team.
Together, we can help our team rebuild and come back stronger. Thank you for being part of our story.
100% of donations will go directly to support the Botanist & Barrel team & help us continue to support our community's recovery. We also recommend donating to the community at large through Beloved Asheville.
