Help Our Church Build A New Temple!

On January 21, 2018, the founder of our church - Instituto Espiritualista Luz da Liberdade - Bruno Lisboa da Silva, found healing and sobriety through the sacred power plant ayahuasca. Bruno started using drugs at the age of 19 and tried more than 20 times to be drug-free. After going through several clinics and rehabilitations without finding a permanent solution, he found ayahuasca and was welcomed by people of great goodwill and love. From this point on, a transformation began in his life. However, he could not fully embrace his healing journey knowing that there were thousands of people with their lives destroyed, feeling lost, with their families ruined, and unable to pursue their dreams as well.

Bruno united people and started his journey with the mission of helping people heal. Today he leads our church with love, affection, dedication and constant selflessness. Families are being restored, dreams are resurrected, church members are graduating college, breaking intergenerational trauma, and living sober and healthy lives, all while peace and love are being shared.

After more than a year of welcoming and healing people, we could see that the result was real and effective. People who arrived at our church in need of help united to create the association. Everybody helped in any way possible and we started the process of legal registration of IELL. The association was legally founded on July 10, 2020.

Our purpose is to change and heal lives. We are a spiritualist, non-profit institution, made up of different people, with different backgrounds, different cultures and different professions that came together for the sake of achieving a common purpose. Everyone voluntarily collaborates in a selfless and altruistic way, our religion is love, and we believe that only love, understanding, goodwill and dedication are capable of truly changing someone's life.

Today we are more than 20 people 100% committed to this purpose and have helped over 2,000 people heal. Our family has grown, new families have been restored and the space has become too small to receive more brothers and sisters who need help. We need to build a new structure with a greater capacity for receiving people and we ask for your collaboration so that this work continues to fulfill its primary purpose of CHANGING LIVES.

For us to continue our healing mission, we need to raise a total amount of approximately $20,000. Today our service space is a regular outdoor canopy tent. While this tent has provided a sacred space to many people, it is no longer able to withstand extreme weather changes. We want to build a bigger structure with more roofing. With your donations, we will be able to triple our service capacity, and you can be a part of it. The need is real, the purpose is noble, the person is you, and the time is now!
