Help our Coffee Queen Maria rebuild her home

Anyone that lives around one of the three Frigg cafes in Manly, Ascot or on the Gold Coast will recognise the gorgeous smiling faces of 'The Twinnies'. They're two amazing women and they've been the backbone of their communities for so long — especially through the crazy last two years.

As a Frigg Manly customer, I'm always in awe of how many local community initiatives I see Maria and the Frigg team supporting. No matter what is happening in the world, they always greet you with the BIGGEST SMILE and the most perfect coffee every time.

Maria's made so many of our mornings brighter over the past few years, but wow could she do with a hug and a helping hand right now. After all the closures, half closures, expensive mandates and changes to their industry over the past few years, not to mention a year of health issues that kicked this gorgeous lady for a six… along came this week’s Brisbane floods. And they have dealt our lovely Maria a big old unfair serve of chaos :(

Maria has completely lost the home that she shares with her wonderful husband. They've only been in the property a few months. As bad luck would have it, through an admin error, their contents weren’t insured. It wasn't planned, it was just one of those things where you think you've ticked something off the list and changed an address on a form, but later find out you haven't. The day they found out? Was already one of their lowest days :(

This beautiful, big hearted woman has given so much to our community and as a local Frigg customer, I'd love to ask you to join me in giving back. They're restarting from scratch. Furniture etc would be a help, but first, they have to get through the rebuilding period. What they need more than anything right now (but I know she would never ask for) is some moolah to help them to get what they need and back on track.

Maria has no idea I'm doing this... she'll probably be horrified with me next time I go in to grab my soy flat white, but I've checked in with Toula to get her blessing so Maria you have to forgive me hahaa.

It would be amazing if you could give what you can, every little bit will help as they have a long journey ahead.
