Help Our Community Cemetery

My name is Kari and I am raising funds for the Republic Cemetery Association (a nonprofit) located in Republic, Washington. The association is in need of operating funds so we can continue to pay our cemetery manager ( sexton) and our seasonal groundskeeper.

The rising cost of minimum wage and payroll taxes have depleted our funds. We are a non endowment cemetery and we rely on donations, sale of plots and niches. We also do other fundraising but we are a small community and have a limited pool to draw donations from. We have gotten grants in the past for new lawn equipment.

The cemetery was established in 1898 when the gold rush began in Republic and is very meaningful to our community.
