The first time I met Prof G.A Adenuga was in year 2000 when he came to pick one of his daughters Abidemi from Secondary school as we were classmates and since then he adopted me as a son and has been my mentor.
Gbenga Adenuga is 63 years old. He is an educationist; professor of biochemistry. A wonderful father to many and a dedicated civil servant.
In the course of his career, he has imparted so many lives positively (those that know him can attest to this).
Gbenga Adenuga is in a vulnerable state as he battles end stage kidney failure. He has been on maintenance hemodialysis for at least twice a week over the past month.
He is in URGENT need of kidney transplant, either at home in Nigeria, or abroad with cost estimated to be 20 million naira; approximately 48,000 dollars.
Let's help get him back on his feet, doing what he loves best.
