Help Our Dad Recover from Open Heart Surgery

Our dad, Deacon Kenneth Stanley, has recently suffered a heart attack and as a result, underwent triple bypass surgery and will be out of work for anywhere from 5-10 weeks. Unfortunately, this has coincided with a tragic financial loss which has left him unable to support himself through this period so we are trying to raise money to help cover his medical bills, supplies, food, and living expenses while he is out of work.

 

For those of you who do not know our dad… Kenneth is a father of three and a deacon at St. Simon and Jude Catholic Church in the Woodlands. Our dad is nothing if not generous and has opened his heart, home, and wallet to so many who have fallen upon hard times, without expectations, even when helping out put him in a difficult spot. When hurricanes hit, he opened his home to those who lost theirs. As a business owner, he gave working opportunities to those who couldn’t find work otherwise. As a deacon, he has counseled his community through devastating losses. As a father, he has shown up to support his kids through thick and thin. He has supported family and friends monetarily when they were suffering financial hardship. He chooses to see the good in people and he does everything he can to lend a hand to those in need, generously and gladly.

 

For the body to heal, the mind must be at ease so we are trying to alleviate the stress caused by this horrible confluence of events by raising the money he needs to get him through this incredibly difficult period. He is now at home and needs the support of his family, friends, and community of faith to help him as he has helped so many before. We ask that you find it in your hearts to give what you can so that he can recover from this horrible blow and get back on his feet and back to his life’s work of serving his community.
