Help our daughter get to Mott’s children’s hospital!

Hello everyone. My name is makalah sever and my husband is Seth sever. We have 4 beautiful children together! Our 4 year old daughter Raelynn recently was diagnosed with a life long disease called Venous Malformation. She wakes up in the middle of the night with a randomly swollen leg which causes her to loose her ability to bend her knee, walk or even get proper sleep. She is up all night crying thru the pain so we finally chose to get her seen. Venous malformation is a disease where the veins in her body are strung together like a bunch of spaghetti noodles instead of like “straight roads”. Because of this her blood can’t properly flow thru her veins and instead clots. She currently has multiple locations of malformations and a vascular tumor in her knee. She also has multiple lesions around the area causing the blood to pool and cause her immense pain. She was finally seen by a specialist in this disease at the Mott’s children’s hospital this past week and scheduled to have her first surgery this Monday (10/7/24). Because this disease has no cure the doctors will do the best they can to shrink her malformations with sclerotherapy and emobilization therapy’s. Treatments need to be done every 4 weeks at Mott’s children’s hospital in Ann Arbor which is a 8.5 hour drive one way from home. We never ask for help but our daughter is relying on her doctors away from home! We are asking for help with gas, hotels and food for our trip for her surgeries as the cost for travel is very expensive right now. We appreciate everything and anything anyone is willing to help out with!! Please help us get our girl the help she needs ❤️
