WE ARE IN MAJOR FOOD CRISIS DUE TO DROUGHT AND BUSH FIRES. PLEASE HELP SAVE OUR DISABILITY YARD
We have hit the most terrifying and tragic times. The nation is so badly affected by no rain and catastrophic fires that hay and food supplies are becoming so difficult to source and prices have sky rocketed! We MUST buy in bulk and start preparing as this is only the beginning of a very harsh reality. WE URGENTLY NEED HELP TO SURVIVE.
Our disability yard is the first and most important area at our sanctuary we need to focus on, having high risk and high need cases that can not afford to go without feed due to medical requirements.
DRU are desperately trying to seek two hay feeders which costs around $2,500 each and raise extra funds to stock up with food. The grain feeder is a very important part of saving on food costs and being able to buy in large bulk to save on costs, as the grain feeder gives the ability of storing a large quantity of food (4 tonnes) , and most of all has a slow feeding capacity which gives the perfect amount of feed to eat all day long to rehabilitate and gain the condition they do desperately need.
Every single dollar adds up and means the world to our animals and sanctuary right now. We know this is a desperate time for everyone, we are terrified of what is happening around us. We have to do all we can for the survival of our sanctuary and animals. Help us fight for their future.
