Help our family as Mary Ann continues to heal...

Our family was in complete shock on March 11th when our mom, grandma, wife, and friend Mary Ann had a stroke. She suffered an extreme loss of movement on the left side of her body and has been trying to get movement back since. Anyone who knows Mary Ann knows how active she is. She plays badminton on Wednesdays with her husband and her grandaughter Emily. She volunteers in many ways: at her church, Hershey Med and Hershey Park. She assists with Meals on Wheels and with the Refugee Resettlement Program through Catholic Charities. Additionally, Mary Ann has been teaching a young girl math at the St. Theresa's school as well as tutoring many local kids and her granddaughters. It has been devastating for us as her family to watch her fight her own body to get back the strength and movement she would need to help others in the same ways as before the stroke. We have been supporting her by keeping her company as she has gone through multiple rehabs, and while insurance has helped us out quite a bit, we would like to further her stay at her most recent rehab so that she can continue to make the leaps of progress that we have seen so far. Any funds we raise will be used to fuel her rehab stay for the next two weeks, and then for outpatient therapy after that as she will be at home.
