Help Our Family Find Peaceful Passage Out of Gaza
Donation protected
This is me Islam Ezzanoun a journalist and a mother of three children from Gaza .
The ravages of war stole from us the simple joy of capturing a precious moment: a photo with our newborn daughter. She entered this world on the twenty fifth of conflict, amidst the chaos, delivered via an urgent cesarean section. As the operation unfolded, the lights flickered and died, leaving us to welcome her into darkness, illuminated only by faint, flickering lights. Days later, still frail from the ordeal, I guided my three children through a harrowing path, threading through the rubble and remnants of shattered lives, dodging gunfire and the relentless barrage of shells, all in a desperate quest for safety in the southern reaches. Yet, even there, tranquility proved fleeting as the echoes of war reverberated ceaselessly.
Our attempt to seek refuge across Rafah cross border, was met with yet another cruel demand: a huge amount of money just to pass through the Rafah crossing. Here we stand, my family and I, once enveloped in the warmth of happier times, now thrust into the cold, unforgiving embrace of uncertainty and displacement.
Our plea is simple, yet profound: help us reclaim the chance for a new beginning. Your donation is not just a contribution; it's a lifeline, offering us the chance to rewrite our story.
