Help Our Family Make a Difference!!

From our loving family to yours, I am reaching out today with a request that is very close to my heart. All friends, family, and loved ones, we have recently launched a GoFundMe campaign to support our beautiful two year old son Angel. On 02/26/2024 Angel was admitted to the hospital due to respiratory issues. Upon being admitted our son Angel tested positive for RSV, RhinoVirus, and Pneumonia. After 5 days of being at a local hospital in Wichita, Kansas Angel was airlifted to Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City Missouri, due to a rare unknown blood virus, prior to being airlifted our Angel’s organs began to fail and he went into a coma. We are so grateful for the doctors and staff at Children’s Mercy Hospital working tirelessly around the clock to identify the type of blood virus Angel has. We are fervent in prayer each and every day until our little boy is completely healed and fully recovered. Our goal is to collect contributions from everyone who is willing to help our family assist with medical bills not fully covered by our health insurance, along with payment for the ECMO machine that helps those suffering from chronic or life threatening respiratory illnesses when all other medical options have been exhausted. The ECMO machine works by inserting a plastic tube into a large vein and/or artery through the neck, chest or groin of the patient. This tube allows for the patient’s blood to flow out into an oxygenator, or artificial lung. The oxygenator adds oxygen and removes carbon dioxide from the blood, before a pump sends this blood back into the patient through a separate tube, at the same frequency and force of the heart. Essentially, ECMO helps these patients by acting as their heart and lungs. We believe that every little bit counts and that together, we can make a significant difference. Your donation, no matter how big or small, will help us provide room and board for us (Angels Parents),while Angel receives the necessary medical care to recover properly and have the opportunity to be perfectly healthy and healed from what he is currently suffering from. The contributions will also assist in supporting medical expenses for our sick child and provide the necessary medical treatments for Angel to get well. I ask that you would touch his body and bring your healing power to every part of his being. Give Angel strength, comfort, and peace as they journey towards wholeness.

Please bless the doctors and nurses who are caring for Angel and guide their hands as they provide treatment. I trust in your loving care, and I know that you are with our child every step of the way.
