Help Maurice and Maggy Rebuild After Fire
Donation protected
My family recently lost their Altadena home, their cars and everything they owned in the Eaton fire. This home was not just a house—it was a sanctuary for our family for the past 15 years, a place of gathering, comfort, and countless memories.
This loss is deeply personal, as the house held significant emotional value for all of us. It was here that we faced immense challenges, including the heartbreaking loss of my sister, Addison, their daughter. In recent years, rebuilding and healing have been at the center of our lives, all tied to this home. This new tragedy has only emphasized the importance of moving forward together, even in the face of such adversity.
While my parents remain incredibly resilient, saying, "things are just things," I want to ensure they have a safe and peaceful place to spend their golden years. The funds raised through this campaign will be used to support:
- Intermediate housing efforts to provide them with a stable and comfortable place to live while they navigate this challenging time.
- Rebuilding their home, so they can eventually return to the space that has meant so much to our family.
Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us closer to giving them a sense of normalcy and hope for the future. Thank you for your kindness, love, and support during this incredibly difficult time.
Information for GoFundMe: My name is Logan Hitchcock. I'm from Pasadena, California. I set this up for Maurice and Maggy, who are my parents, in order to help them rebuild after losing everything they owned in the fire. The money will go directly to them and it will be used at their discretion to rebuild their lives. They need to buy everything, clothes, food, medicine, household items, etc.
