B. Pat is one of the most talented and caring people I know. He has been an inspirational force in the Manitoba Theatre scene since studying in the Theatre Program at the University of Winnipeg in the mid 1980's. He is a founding member of Shakespeare in the Ruins, been the TD at The Gas Station Theatre, the Chair of training at A.C.T.RA. Manitoba and directed the Young Company at M.T.Y.P. to great acclaim, inspiring and helping launch the acting careers of countless successful Canadian Actors, Directors, Artistic Directors and Producers. Himself a master teacher, coach and director I have witnessed his incredible spirit and mastery as he helps individuals realize and mobilize their potential. He never ceases to change the lives of other artists and those around him and never fails to help others in need.
Now it's time for us to help B. Pat!
Recently Pat underwent emergency heart surgery after an earlier hospital stay and subsequent healing that demanded he get well over an extended period of time.
Although he is slowly on the mend, this has made it difficult for him to do what he does best.
Train Actors and Create Theatre!
In any situation when health demands focus one has financial challenges ahead on the road to total recovery.
Coming together to help would mean the world to me his friends and family. If you know Pat, you know he has touched your life in a profound way.
Let's send back some energy and help him get back on his feet and back on the boards as soon as possible!
Pat is moving into the heart of the city on September 1, 2018 and I know easing costs would allow him substantial focus on healing. Timely assistance will furnish a faster and more robust recovery.
The funds raised will go directly to Pat to help with targeted rehab/physiotherapy, supplement living costs and a few moving costs.
One of the key aspects of recovery is to be close to the services he needs and to the arts community he has helped to build!
If you would consider sharing this campaign on facebook or you are able to contribute funds in any amount it would be absolutely incredible and I would throw you a parade if I could!
Thank you so much for reading, sharing and helping our friend!
I am hoping we can make this happen!
Let's do it!!!!!
Sincerely,
Sharon B. Moore and friends!
