Help our friend Amanda Miller fight cancer

Mark and I have known Amanda since our days together at UNCSA, and have remained in contact through the many years thereafter. Our lives have been good to us, but have also handed us some considerable challenges.

We recently learned that Amanda has breast cancer, which required surgery and follow-up treatments. This situation has made it impossible for her to continue working. She is now on the other side of the bulk of the procedures related to her cancer treatment, but in the interim she’d had to put a very necessary hip replacement on hold.

Thanks to Amanda’s will and determination, she finally has a confirmed date for her hip replacement at UNC Rex Hospital in Raleigh, NC on December 15, 2023.

As she recovers from that surgery, she will need in-home care and time to recover. We are asking that you please consider making a donation to this fund. Our financial goal is to include her insurance co-pay and deductible, in-home support during recovery, as well as much needed physiotherapy.
