Help our friend Brian Pleau

Our best friend, Brian Pleau, was involved in a horrific tragedy last night, February 13th, where an ex convict had cut Brian's throat from ear to ear. Brian did nothing to instigate this happening, he was merely helping a close friend out, as he usually does.  Brian had to fight this guy off him, and when doing so he drove to our house, as our house was closer than a hospital was, covered in blood from head to toe.  We then had the Ambulance come in and the police, and got him the help he needed to stay alive and to find the person responsible as quickly as possible.  Brian currently is in Intensive Care, with 32 staples later and a tube in his neck to help him breathe.  We are very grateful he is alive and for the prompt attention from our local ERT and police. The man responsible for doing this to him is described as 'not all there', and is being held by police, thank god... For anyone who knows Brian personally, knows him as a good person, fun loving, meek and mild, compassionate, selfless, trusting reliable and responsible, hard working, and wouldn't hurt a fly type person. He is the last person anyone would expect for any of this to even happen to.  Any help for him would be gratefully received, as he will be unable to return for work until he is recovered.  Currently his cellphone is being held by RCMP for few days, he has one of ours for the time so he can call family and friends.
