Help our friend Cindy Barker fight this battle.

Our friend Cindy Barker is in a fight for her life. Her and her family are battling what we are hoping is Lambert Eaton Syndrome. LMS is a rare medical disorder that causes severe muscle weakness in the legs and arms and typically exists alongside small cell lung cancer. If Cindy has LMS her condition will improve with a set of injections prescribed by her doctor and possible cancer treatment. If her condition does not improve then it is likely she will have Lou Gehrig's disease. Unfortunately, even the cost of the first injections are prohibitively expensive at $18k each and a minimum of five are required with the possibility of needing to treat cancer thereafter. If the injections don't help then she will likely be diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's disease.

Cindy's health insurance will cover 80% of the costs but she will have to be out of work for an extended time, will need to travel extensively for treatment and will need to cover significant medical costs along with the basic cost of living. We are trying to raise $50k to help keep her afloat this year and to cover her medical expenses so she can concentrate on beating her medical issues.
