Help our friend Dave Daoust and Family
Donation protected
In December 2022 our friend Dave Daoust was unexpectedly diagnosed with Stage 4 prostate cancer. It has been a severe blow to his family and friends. The oncologist at the BC Cancer Centre has said that Dave is too far gone for any chemo or radiation treatment. At this point, Dave and his wife Susan are exploring alternative therapies, and the exorbitant cost of these treatments is adding up.
Dave is a friend indeed. A wise listener, he loves God and his fellow man. He is a loving husband to Susan, a dad to Sam and Stefanie, a tradesman, a worship leader, a recording artist, an addiction advocate, and was able to conquer alcoholism over 30 years ago. Dave and Susan are part of a team that run an addiction ministry in the community of Whalley, in Surrey, B.C. He cares deeply for others.
Sometimes in life we receive loads that are too heavy to carry, and we should ask for help when we need it. We his friends love Dave and his family, and are asking people to join us in giving. We humbly ask you to show love and support, and to help the family through the trying time that this illness has brought them.
Dave is unable to work and too young for a government pension. Susan is spending her days caring for Dave.
Please join us in donating to our friends, whose future has suddenly become very
uncertain in every way. All funds raised go directly to the Daoust family.
