As many of you are aware, Tiny has a long road ahead to recover from his hunting accident. On Oct 19th, Tiny fell out of a tree stand and sustained traumatic injuries including 14 broken ribs and both lungs collapsed. He's in UW Hospital TLC unit with a fantastic medical team. He's had a difficult road fighting infections and a number of other complications that come up for those types of injuries. He was on a vent and had a Tracheostomy on Oct 30th. Things are now starting to progress in the right direction.
The doctors believe he'll be in TLC for a few more weeks and moved into a long term care facility for rehab. He will need PT, OT and speech therapy before he will be able to come home. Needless to say, Tiny has a long road ahead. Tiny will be off work for a long period of time. Heather isn't able to work due to health issues. Tiny is the family's primary breadwinner. Any help would be used to cover uncovered medical expenses such has copays and deductibles, rent, veicle payments and insurance, living expenses and many unexpected expenses that will come up during in his recovery process.
Heather and Tiny would have never thought a year ago they'd be spending their 1st Wedding Anniversary apart!!
