Help our friend Veronica fight cancer!

Hello everyone,

Thank you so much for donating & sharing Veronica's gofundme page. Here's an update on her condition and what your donations will be helping with.

She was recently diagnosed with Stage 2c colon cancer. Her medical team want to start treatment immediately before the cancer can spread to other areas.

Her home is located in Flagstaff and is not staffed or equipped to address Veronica's needs. To receive the best treatment available she must to travel to Phoenix on an almost daily basis to get her radiation and chemo treatments.

This will affect her full time work schedule since she must accommodate the four hour drive to Phoenix for her life saving treatments.

Veronica also requires medication to help her cope with the debilitating side affects of radiation & chemotherapy.

In addition to her treatments, medication, and commute, she must arrange childcare for her two children so they can finish out their school year.

The mental & physical toll that she must endure during this time is unimaginable, especially because she is so far away from most of her family & friends.

She is one of the most talented, strong, funny, kind, and hard working women I know. She somehow finds time to cultivate her professional career, be an incredible mother, pursue her talents (for which she holds world records no less), and be a loving friend...all while being a single mother.

These accomplishments are incredibly difficult to attain in favorable circumstances for most of us, and now Veronica is facing the added challenge of a cancer diagnosis.
