Help Our Friends Rob and Gretta Rebuild Their Life

I'm reaching out to ask for your help for two incredibly special people - Rob Lange and Gretta Treuscorff. Their beloved home, which held years of memories and treasured possessions, was completely destroyed in the Eaton Wildfire in Southern California. They, and their beloved cat Penny, made it out safely (thank goodness), but now face the overwhelming challenge of rebuilding their lives from the ground up.

If you know Rob and Gretta, you know exactly the kind of people they are. They're the first ones to show up when friends need help, always with a warm smile and open hearts. Now it's our turn to be there for them.

Right now, they're staying in temporary housing while trying to process what happened and figure out their next steps. Anyone who's dealt with insurance companies knows this isn't a quick process. They're facing a long road ahead (2+ years), starting completely from scratch – from replacing basic necessities like clothes and toiletries to dealing with insurance deductibles and eventually rebuilding their home.

While insurance will help, we all know it won't cover everything. They're facing significant costs for immediate needs like clothing, food, and daily essentials, plus the longer-term expenses of rebuilding their home and life from scratch.

Every dollar helps, truly. Whether you can give $5 or $500, it all adds up to showing Rob and Gretta they're not alone in this. And if you can't donate right now, sharing their story with your friends and family would mean so much - you never know who might be able to help.

I'll keep posting updates here to let everyone know how they're doing and share their progress. Everything raised goes straight to Rob, Gretta, and Penny to help them get back on their feet.
