Help our friends - Spano, Drew, and Baby Dash

Our friends, Stephanie Spano and Drew East, were so excited about their first child and were planning out their life together.  
Drew proposed to Steph at their baby reveal, and they decided on his name, Dash!  They had just closed on a new house and were preparing to move, so they could get ready for Dash's arrival in June.

On Monday, March 18th, Stephanie was admitted to the hospital with severe abdominal pain and diagnosed with HELLP syndrome which required an immediate, emergency c-section to save her life.  Baby Dash lived up to his name when he came into this world at 27 weeks.  

Dash lived for a week in the NICU at Christus Lake Area Medical, where the amazing doctors and nurses took great care of him and his parents.   Dash put up a great fight, but on Wednesday March 27th, 2019, he passed away in his mom's arms.  

Stephanie and Drew thank everyone for all the love and support they have received over the last week.

We are starting this campaign to help them with all of the unexpected expenses they have incurred.  ICU care is extremely expensive, and so are funeral costs.  We are hoping to raise enough money to pay for the funeral expenses and some of the medical expenses.
