Help our friends to escape Afghanistan alive
Friends are under attack in Afghanistan. Help us save our friends lifes.

What is the situation?
We are Marc and Charlène, Swiss citizen and world travellers. Marc visited Afghanistan in spring 2021. The hospitability of Afghan people was immense! They welcomed him as a friend, opening their doors and hearts. Particularly two very good friends cared for him to have a wonderful and safe stay. Together they explored many areas, mountains and cultural places. We are very grateful for their warm hospitality.
Talibans took over the country.
Our friends, including Zabih and Fatima, are in danger. They already received multiple threats from unknown numbers and both were attacked, luckily without serious consequences. Both fear for their lives.
This is breaking our hearts and we want to help them.
They were forced to leave their hometowns and belongings – they are now in Kabul, waiting for a way to escape the country.
Why they need help?
Our friends and their close family are in danger. They need to leave for another life in a neighbouring country. Unfortunately, this is not easy to achieve. They need passport, visa (foreign embassies are mostly outside of Afghanistan, they need to pay high fees for intermediaries organizing visas), a flight tickets (prices have exploded), accommodation, residence permit, food, etc.
When do we need the funds?
We need the money NOW. The Taliban already took over the country. Help & money is needed for the families to survive the upcoming days, weeks, and months.
Other families in need
This campaign is to save our friends life. We are aware that it’s hard to calculate and coordinate this escape. We tried our best to estimate the money that is needed ASAP.
If there is any over-funding or money left we’ll share it with other Afghan families in need. We hope to be able to help other families being displaced because of Taliban rules.
If you can help in any other way…
- If you know a way for Afghan people to get an affordable visa for another country in the next days;
- If you know about organizations that would welcome people from Afghanistan;
- If you have other ideas;
… please let us know.
