Help our gorgeous boy Busty to see again
Donation protected
Hi, Josh, Carol and Dan here. As most of you know we’ve had to watch the deterioration of our beautiful fun, full of life boy Busty start to lose his sight and it’s totally heartbreaking. At 12, Bust is so full of fun and he literally lives to play, balls of any size are his happy place. Strangers come in to our house and Busty will go grab a toy because let’s face it, what’s life without play. 4 months ago Busty was diagnosed with cataracts in both his eyes, his left being particularly bad. The operation to clear the cataract is £6000 which we didn’t have, so we had to make the heart breaking decision to see how he managed with one eye agreeing, should his right eye start to deteriorate we would do what we could to save it. Today we are in that place and our boy struggles now to even see us so he’s booked in with the wonderful Queen Mary’s hospital on 1st May to start the process to try help him see again so he can live out the rest of his happy years playing, and being our crazy awesome little smelly fella
As two students (at my age!) money has been tight for Josh and I so we decided to do a fund raiser, Josh and Dan will run and row a 20km stretch of our beautiful Essex canals over the weekend of 3-4th May and possibly the weekend after. We ask all of our friends and family and kind others to please donate, and share our cause, every small penny helps. We will keep you all updated with news of our boy and of course plenty of pictures of the boys doing their sponsored miles. Thank you so much, from the bottom of our hearts and gorgeous little furry paws xx
