Help our Grandma Fight Cancer !

Hello, My name is Sandra and I am setting up this fund to help my grandmother Rosa.

In June of this year, my grandma was hospitalized due to not feeling well. After a week in the hospital, it was discovered that she had a mass in her esophagus. After visiting an oncologist, it was confirmed that my grandma has Stage 3 Esophageal Cancer. This month, the oncologist shared his treatment plan which includes 5 weeks of daily radiation and weekly chemo treatments along with a possible surgery. As you can imagine, all this news in the last 2 months has been very difficult for our family.

With your kind help and support we hope to raise money for her to assist with any upcoming expenses during her treatment period. Our family has come together to help in every way but medical expenses have not stopped and the moment my grandmother hears prices her first words are "Aye dios, porque tanto?" ( Oh my, why so much?)

My grandma is a beautiful person inside and out. She always puts others before herself. She loves to laugh, spend time with family, watch scary movies and solve crossword puzzles. She has been so strong through all and continues to fight. We are so blessed to call her a wife, sister, mom, suegra, grandma and great-grandma. We love her so much and continue to pray for her to beat this cancer.

Anything we can do to minimize the day-to-day stresses and allow my grandma and her children to focus on her health and not the cost of treatments and medicine will be beneficial.
