Help our Kevin get the Medical care he needs!

Hello to all the Friends, Family, and Fans of our guy and beloved chef of Grindhaus, Kevin Speltz. As some may be aware, Kev has fallen very ill with a sudden oncoming of Ulcerative Colitis, which has now led to a diagnosis of Crohn's Disease. For those who may be unaware of what UC or Crohn's Disease does to the body,  in a nut shell, a person experiences striking pain in the abdomen and loss of blood through the bowels. Kevin has been suffering from this for a month now and has lost a scary amount of blood. The Doctors would like to put him on transfusion as soon as possible, but the medical bills are extraneous without insurance. As he battles with this pain and tries to sign up for insurance, our country's "excellent" health care system isn’t making it the easiest of processes. Resulting in him being unable to get the medical care he needs to get back to being our goofy lovable guy and chef.

 

One transfusion has a price tag of 20K, and unfortunately, he will need more. However, our strong, silly, hard-working dude does have a weakness when it comes to asking for help. So I'm here to do that for him! I hope that if we all band together to give whatever we can, it will all add up in the end to get him the help he needs to fight this!
