Help our little teddy fight

Hi, my name is Chloe Luke and I’m Theodore (aka our Teddy) Luke’s mother. Early Thursday morning on the 28th of September while rotating our little boy to feed him, I began to notice that something didn’t seem right. He was crying every time I moved him, he’d scream every hour and when I tried to dress him for the day; clutched his right leg and wailed. Something was set off in my gut in that moment and I took him to the gp who when trying to get him to stand, noticed the lump in his femur and had us go in for an emergency X-ray and ultrasound which then proceeded to set off the chain of events that has led to the last week at the Sydney children’s hospital. It was Friday we learned that they found an aneurysmal bone cyst and had us go in for an mri as they thought he’d fractured the bone but the mri shows something a little more sinister in our baby’s right femur and unfortunately the cyst seems to be a product of it. We are now awaiting for the pet scan and the biopsy for an official diagnosis but due to my husband being off of work to care for our 3 and a half year old while I’ve been in hospital with Teddy and fuel/food and parking being so expensive, we are now struggling and have resorted to this as our absolute last resort. Throughout this our boy has remained one of the most happiest children I have ever met and has even managed to wrap the nurses around his finger so any bit, whether that be $1 or $10 will help us as we try to navigate our new normal and work on getting our boy better and I cannot thank everyone enough for the support.
