Help our little Wallie

Donation protected
Our little 3 year old Wallie is currently in need of surgery due to severe necrotising pancreatitis.

He is currently In ER and we are praying and hoping he pulls up ok as we love him more than anything in this world and he means the universe and beyond to us. We don’t know what we will do if we lose him, especially since he has only been with us for 3 short years since he was only a little baby at 8 weeks old. The vets say he has a 50/50 chance of survival and that we may have to let him cross the rainbow bridge today should the vets determine that there is no hope with saving him due to the ruptured fluids surrounding his pancreas which have come up on both the X-ray and ultrasound.

Even a small amount will go a long way with helping us tremendously through this rough and agonising time of knowing we could possibly lose our little baby son today. We will tremendously appreciate any kindness and generosity through this most excruciating time we have ever experienced in our lives. We are not ready to lose our little baby boy. Our little bundle of joy has his whole life ahead of him. He has filled our lives with so much happiness and joy and we would be extremely blessed should he be given another chance at life.

UPDATE 5 July 2019

First off, thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone for the overwhelming love, support, prayers, positive thoughts and to those who have made a tremendous effort to spread the word. Our little baby potato has made it through surgery and is stable for the time being. He will be staying overnight at the hospital to be monitored and to ensure he is all systems go.

The vet had advised his pancreas was inflamed and ruptured and they found it through ultrasound and X-ray. His bloodwork also showed high white blood count and high pancreatic enzymes.

His pancreas was necrotic and had ruptured, and there was abscess fluid all over his abdomen.

The surgeon sucked out all the abscess fluid and detached his pancreas to prevent spreading to the other organs.
There may be a possibility his body will reject due to his pancreas being removed. We are still praying for our baby boy to heal up and come home so we can hold him in our arms.
