Help our Loving Mum live with Stage 4 Lung Cancer

Karen Beardmore is our incredibly strong Mum who has independently raised my brother and me, doing anything she can to keep a roof over our heads and food in our bellies for over 20 years. Most importantly, she has taught us to be loving, kind, and happy. We are so grateful and lucky to have her as our Mother, and this is our chance to repay her for the endless love she has shown us for our entire lives.

 

Unfortunately, only six months ago, in a terrible fall at work, doctors found out she has Stage 4 Small Cell Lung Cancer, a fast-growing/aggressive form of cancer that seems like an impossible battle to win. After going through 4 rounds of chemo and 40 sessions of radiotherapy, she is still battling hard.

 

We want to be able to take some of the financial stresses and worries that are currently weighing on her mind, in particular, funeral costs, in which we now have nothing saved, as this situation has developed so quickly. We would also like to support her in being able to tick some things off of her bucket list as she wants to be able to create some long-lasting memories with her family if and when the worst were to happen.
