Help our Maintenance Supervisor Mark Maddux

Hi, My name is Amber Jordan; I am the community manager for Residences at Glenview Reserve Apartments in Nashville, TN. Unfortunately, our maintenance supervisor was injured in a shooting during the overnight hours of August 26, 2022. Mark was shot when an altercation broke out between two unknown individuals; during the fight, gunshots were fired, and Mark was struck in the back. He was taken to Vanderbilt University Hospital, where he underwent two extensive surgeries resulting in his spleen removal. The operations resulted in a 7-day stay in the ICU. He is now home and working through his physical, mental, and emotional recovery, which will be a long road ahead. Throughout this experience, Mark has not stopped smiling or cracking jokes, which is admirable.

Mark is a single father of two wonderful sons, Vince and Hudson. His boys are his world, and he works daily to ensure they are happy and healthy.

Mark has been a member of the BH Management family since October 2018. He truly cares about our community and takes pride in his work to ensure that each resident's requests are completed promptly, all while providing all-star customer service. He goes above and beyond every day.

Mark is a fantastic person who has endured a lot since the shooting occurred and still has a long road ahead. We want to help him with donations to help offset the cost of the medical bills that he will incur and other daily expenses associated with his recovery.
