Jim and Becky Boughman need your help

Please find in your heart a way to help our neighbors, Jim and Becky Boughman. Their lives have been turned upside down in a matter of months.

Becky was diagnosed with cancer at the end of June and underwent surgery to remove a large ovarian tumor. She has since had additional tests and she needs to have colon surgery. Her short-term disability is over and she now has no money coming in. Cobra payments will still need to be paid to cover some of her ongoing medical expenses.

On August 12th, she let us know that her husband, Jim, was diagnosed with incurable stage 4 gallbladder cancer that had spread to his liver and surrounding lymph nodes. Both are now out of work and are selling what they can, but that will not be enough to cover the skyrocketing medical bills and day to day living expenses.

Jim and Becky are great animal lovers and have adopted several rescue horses and a dog who was dumped near the neighborhood. Donations could also be used for animal food and vet care and would ease Becky and Jim’s worry about maintaining the health of the animals they love as they struggle with their own health issues..
