Help our neighbour from being homeless in winter.

URGENT!!

We are in immediate need of financial help for our friend/neighbour John, a 76 year old senior.

He recently lost his home due to a combination of bad health as well as the recent increase in mortgage rates/inflation.

We are just trying to get him through the winter without becoming homeless. We hope the funds raised will give us time to figure out a long term plan and find any available government support.

Due to his health issues, he needs a place that is not shared accomodations, but some type of self contained basement dwelling.

UPDATE:

We have got John in a temporary rental and his belongings stored in a garage. This will give us time to find a long term home that is affordable within John's limited budget.

We are very thankful to people who have donated so far and forwarded this appeal to others.

Update Nov 28

We are close to $3,000 of $12,000 we are aiming for to help him get through the winter and hopefully recover back to normal. John has slowly been recovering from a fall which caused his shoulder and wrist to be damaged.
