Help our Op Shop in West Footscray recover

Hi all lovely persons, the Op Shop West Footscray requires extreme assistance at the moment. It has been broken into 3 times and attempted break ins 5 times and constant vandalism with each time leaving a devastating trail. There is no insurance to cover the damaged property and stolen money and goods. In particular the camera system (cctv) was ripped out and each camera stolen, twice! The door at the rear entry was vandalized and broken into each time to a point that we cant afford to replace the locks yet again. Goods that have been donated of high quality which would have made the op shop money to cover the monthly rent and support the community projects we run, but many been stolen at each break in. Footscray Police are aware of the situation and multiple reports have been made but till date not a single perpetrator has been brought to account, despite us giving photographic evidence and number plates of some of the intruders and thieves. We would appreciate your help and financial donation to help us cover the cost of recovery, maintenance, cost of new goods and also some of the rent. I would not request for this except it’s at a point which anymore break-ins could mean closure of the community shop, which was setup to assist community members, give volunteers a local sanctum and assist anyone who needs it. It’s a true community hub and it would be a shame to lose it due to a few selfish members of society who like to destroy things.
